5MW x 12-hour CAES Demonstration

THEMES is working with a coalition of partners including two national labs, University of Southern California, a large O&G operator, and a global EPC to demonstrate a 5MW, 12-hour Adiabatic CAES System. The Project will:

• Reach commercialization by 2027

• Achieve an LCOS of $0.05 by 2030

• Have 2+ GW of commercial expansion potential across California.

• Provide zero-carbon reliable and resilient power.

• Repurpose stranded O&G infrastructure for operators.
